AlmapBBDO, agency of the year at FIAP 2010

2200 delegates participated during four days of the best creativity in Latin America. 62 judges from the whole region judged 4273 entries in the ten participating disciplines.
27 speakers, advertising, marketing and communication professionals from different world markets, including highlights as Andres Bukowinski, PJ Pereira, Joakim Borgström, Rodrigo Figueroa Reyes, and Carlos Perez raised topics like planning, new technologies and the web world. Trends, debates screenings and the avant premiere of the first TV channel dedicated exclusively to advertising (ADTV), completed the activities. Ibero-America's Hall of Fame had new players that joined it: Andres Bukowinski and Eduardo Fischer (Brazil), Pablo Del Campo and Y & R (Argentina), Luis Miguel Messianu (USA), Ana Maria Olabuenaga and Enrique Gibert (Mexico). 2009 and 2010 honorees can be found at www.fiaponline.net.

FIAP 2010 confirmed AlmapBBDO's leadership as Agency of the Year (same distinction that the agency obtained in the last edition of THE CUP).

Central Film, from Mexico, was consolidated the Production Company of the Year.

Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, also from Mexico, was declared Advertiser of the Year.

The fifth edition of the Young Creatives Marathon was for the team representative of Peru. FIAP Campus was introduced as FIAP's first e-learning program, in which participants can articulate learning modules according to their needs, concerns and expectations; the creation of the first regional ranking of schools of communication, and the launching of the First Circle of Circles, were some of the festival's innovations that added more value to the advertising industry in Latin America.

The closing dinner and awards ceremony wasn't the end of the 2010 edition of the festival. It was the beginning of a true road show: under Terra's sponsorship, FIAP has scheduled over 60 Post FIAP presentations all around the globe.
