The Creative Summit

After the Creative Summit at the 6th Intercontinental Advertising Cup in Istanbul that hosted excellent high-profile speakers, inspiring golden winners from four continents, gurus, teachers, managers, creative leaders, stars and global legends, the Golden Stage of Istanbul welcomed also the new winners of the beautiful steel cup trophies.

The Winners

The Grand CUP went to the agency Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for Break Up campaign, an exceptional campaign made for National Australia Bank (NAB). The strong idea of the bank and its decision to break up with four other Australian banks to explain how NAB bank really changed in the last two years was brilliantly performed by their agency.

All together the jury decided on 35 winners of brand new steel cups.
13 cups went to ADC*E entries, 12 to ADFEST, 5 to FIAP and 5 to Golden Drum. Competing in The Cup selection were 107 short-listed entries from FIAP, 88 from ADFEST, 79 from Golden Drum and 77 from ADC*E.

Amir Kassaei, President of 6th Cup jury, Chief Creative officer DDB Worldwide: “I am proud to be the President of The Cup this year. We saw many great and inspiring works; we believe we selected the best to be the winners. The jury worked very hard, and that it is how the judging must be.
The best proof of the exceptional strength of the Grand Cup winner is that that I would like to be its author, I wish to have done this campaign.”

Jure Apih, founder and CEO of Intercontinental Advertising Cup: “Winning works precisely acclaim the mission of The Cup competition and approve the concept of this festival to emphasize the power of local creativity enriched by the local spirit."

Intercontinental Advertising CUP and Berlin School of Creative Leadership also granted the second Creative Leadership Award, a Steel Cup with the Fire ring with the symbol of BSCL inside. The FireCup trophy was designed to recognize and pay tribute to exceptional leaders who have set new standards in the communication and creative industries.

FireCup, Creative Leadership Award 2012 went to DAVID DROGA, Creative Chairman, Droga5 for having set new standards in advertising and communication and for making an impact on society on a global scale.
