In the last years, Carlos Pérez has become one of the most prestigious creative directors of Latin America. He started his career at Casares Grey in 1992 as a copywriter and made his way up the creative ranks of the agency. In 1997 he became Casares Grey´s Executive Creative Director producing some of his most important works for leading companies like British American Tobacco, Danone, Gillette, Grupo Clarín and Renault.
In 1997, Carlos leaded the creative transformation process of Grey Argentina achieving great success in the industry. In 1999 and 2000, the Agency was one of the three most awarded in Latin American.
By the end of 2000, Carlos joined Ratto/BBDO as ECD and in 2001 leaded the launch of BBDO Argentina. Two years after that, the Agency ranked #22 at GunnReport. Last year was the only Latin American agency selected by Cream among the Top 100 Innovative companies. Today BBDO Argentina is one of the star offices of the network and one of the most creative agencies in Argentina.
Currently, BBDO Argentina works for Nike, PepsiCo (Snacks and Beverages), Claro, Quaker and Molinos, among others.
In the last 10 years Carlos has won 11 Cannes Lions as well as many other awards at other prestigious creative festivals such as Clio, D&AD and FIAP.
Today, Carlos Pérez is a member of the BBDO Worldwide Creative Board and President of the Argentine Creative Circle.
