Sebastian Turner is Partner and CEO of Scholz & Friends AG. He is responsible for the agency’s creative output and heads the International Creative Committee (ICC). Sebastian Turner has been a member of the board at the Art Directors Club (ADC) in Germany since 1998 and was speaker of the board from 2000 until 2004. He has been a member of the board at the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADC*E) since 2003. Sebastian Turner teaches as a honorary professor at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Turner was born in Clausthal-Zellerfeld in 1966. In 1985, he founded MediumMagazin, now the leading German publication for journalists. In 1990, he completed his Master of Arts in Political Science, Business Administration and Economic History at Duke University in the USA. Turner has won more creative awards than almost any other adman in Germany.
In 1999, the trade magazine “new business” named him their “Agency man of the year”. In 2006, Turner was elected into the “Hall of Fame of German Advertising” by the business magazine “WirtschaftsWoche”.
